THE WORKING RULES
Terms of Service, Minus the Legalese
These terms apply to every project Sahil Media Group takes on, from a one-page website to a full Google Ads retainer. Your signed proposal carries the specifics; this page covers the ground rules common to all of them.
SCOPE & PAYMENT
Scope, payment, and ad spend
These terms of service work alongside your proposal, and the proposal wins on specifics. Whatever is written there — deliverables, timelines, fees — is the scope. Anything outside it is new work, quoted separately before we start, so there are no surprise invoices.
Fees are payable as an advance for one-time projects and monthly for retainers. GST is charged extra at the applicable rate, with a proper tax invoice every time. Work begins once the advance clears.
Ad spend is never routed through us. Your Google Ads and Meta budgets go from your card or bank account directly to the platforms, inside ad accounts you own. Our management fee is billed separately, so you can always see exactly what the platforms received.
RESULTS, HONESTLY
What we commit to — and what nobody can promise
Why these terms of service exclude ranking guarantees
Nobody outside Google controls Google. We don't guarantee a #1 ranking, a fixed ROAS, or a set number of leads — market, season, and competition all move those numbers, and any agency that guarantees them is selling you a story.
What we do commit to: the agreed work delivered on the agreed schedule, and reporting you can actually read. A typical engagement is judged on trend lines — enquiries, cost per lead, revenue — reviewed together every month, so both sides know early whether the plan needs to change.
OWNERSHIP & EXIT
Ownership, termination, and jurisdiction
Once an invoice is paid, the deliverables it covers are yours: website files, content, creatives, landing pages. Ad accounts and analytics stay in your name from day one, so leaving us never means losing your data. We don't hold websites hostage.
Either side can end a retainer with 30 days' written notice — a WhatsApp message counts, followed by a short email for the record — unless your proposal says otherwise. How we handle your personal data is covered in our privacy policy.
These terms are governed by Indian law, and any dispute falls under the jurisdiction of the courts at Ludhiana, Punjab. In practice, we'd rather fix a problem over a phone call than in a courtroom — that's always the first step.
